Our Mission
We are a first-generation family ranch raising yak and cattle in sunny Klamath Falls, Oregon. Our animals are 100% grass-fed and finished, without added hormones, antibiotics, or GMOs.
Our mission is to provide sustainable, ethical, nutritious food for our community. We use rotational grazing to improve the health of our soil, in turn improving our grass and providing the best feed for our animals. Our dedication to using sustainable practices ensures our products are environmentally friendly and nutritious.
Meet the Herd
Our herd is led by our bull, Spartan, who keeps the ladies calm and producing healthy calves. We select cows to keep in the herd that have the best temperament and calving history so we can continue to breed strong, healthy animals.
Our Story
Nils and Allison started their yak venture in 2024, with the goal to raise animals in harmony with the land. They were drawn to yaks because of their naturally sustainable habits and low impact on the land.
Nils always dreamed of owning livestock and was lucky to find Allison, who is up for trying anything new and has always had a love for animals. They moved their family to Klamath Falls with a vision of a slower pace of life and an opportunity to get the dream of a farm started.
Besides yaks and cattle, Nils and Allison are raising three wild boys, whom they hope to instill a love for the land and animals that sustain us.
